Hammer CrossFit is Looking to Expand our Team!

We are seeking highly-motivated individuals who are interested in taking their coaching career to the next level. Become part of the largest CrossFit gym community in the valley, serving over 600 members!

Must Haves:

• Current CrossFit Level 1 Certification
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification
• Growth mindset and a life-long learner
• Positive attitude and enthusiastic personality
• Passion for coaching and inspiring others
• Ability to adapt to individual member needs and limitations

Ideal Applicant:

• Current L2/L3 Certification
• Previous CrossFit Coaching experience
• Personal Training experience
• Strong understanding of the CrossFit methodology
• Self-starter, task oriented, and able to adapt to ever-changing environments
• Confident in working with athletes at all levels, beginner to advanced

Hours/Schedule:

• 10-25+ hours/week (range depending on need and availability)
• Both AM and PM hours are available (current need is primarily afternoons/evenings)
• Looking for candidates for both our Tempe and Scottsdale locations, candidate may have opportunities to coach at multiple facilities

General Job Duties:

• Lead and instruct group strength and conditioning classes in an upbeat, professional manner
• Create a fun and engaging atmosphere while providing class attendees with feedback on their movement
• Ensure members are checked into classes
• Provide information about gym and services to walk-in customers
• Light cleaning and general upkeep of gym and training area before/after classes
• Perform member outreach to those who are struggling to make it in

In addition to instructing classes, there is opportunity for personal training. This is a growing service and if you are looking to build a book of clients, this is a great place for you!
